khao-sok.tours is an independent guide to Khao Sok National Park tours in Surat Thani, Thailand. We explain what the tours include, what they cost and how to choose one. We don't sell tours, we don't take commission, and no operator pays to appear on these pages.
What this site covers
Everything a first-time visitor asks before booking: Khao Sok tours in general, Cheow Lan Lake and floating bungalows, day versus overnight trips, departures from Phuket, Khao Lak and Krabi, named operators, activities, and the practical side: getting there, where to stay and the entrance fee.
How we research
- Prices come from operators' own published listings and booking pages, checked on the date shown on each page (currently September 2026). Where a price is only reported by travellers, we say so.
- Park rules and fees come from the most detailed park references we can find, chiefly Thai National Parks, and we note when sources disagree (the headquarters fee is the current example).
- Operator reviews summarise public listings and guest reviews on Booking.com, Agoda, Hostelworld, GetYourGuide, operator websites and travel blogs. Quotes are short and attributed. We don't publish star ratings of our own and we don't mark up our pages with review scores.
- What we don't do: we don't invent first-hand trips, we don't accept free tours in exchange for coverage, and we don't guess. If something isn't published (Win Elephant Tour's programme, for example), we say it isn't.
About the photos
The photos illustrate Khao Sok's landscapes: Cheow Lan Lake, raft houses, long-tail boats, rivers and rainforest. They aren't photos of any specific operator's boats, rafts or rooms unless a caption says so. Always look at the operator's own photos before booking.
Corrections
Prices change, trails close, raft houses change hands. If you spot something out of date, please tell us; we check and update, and the date at the top of each page shows when it was last reviewed.
