- Park: Khao Sok National Park, 739 km², Phanom and Ban Takhun districts, Surat Thani; established 1980 as Thailand's 22nd national park. Two areas about 60–67 km (1 hour) apart: the headquarters at Khlong Sok (Khao Sok village) and Cheow Lan Lake (Ratchaprapha Dam reservoir).
- Entrance fee (as of June 2026, Thai National Parks): headquarters 200 THB adult / 100 THB child (3–14); Cheow Lan Lake 300 THB adult / 150 THB child, paid separately; pier fee 40 THB; Thai citizens 40/20 THB. Tickets valid for one day unless staying inside the park (camping or raft house). Older sources still quote 300 THB for the headquarters. Klong Saeng sanctuary (Coral Cave) 200/100 THB.
- Visitor center 08:00–16:30 daily. Night safaris only in the headquarters area. Boats may not run on the lake before sunrise or after sunset. Nam Talu Cave closed 1 June–30 November.

From Khao Lak: about 2,500 THB group day, about 1 hour to the village.

- Wildlife: gibbons, macaques, langurs, hornbills; wild elephants occasionally seen from the lake. No tigers seen in the park for decades.
